Your Five Vital Resonance Systems (And Why One Tuned Dial Isn't Enough)

Last week we talked about the truth bell—that embodied knowing that rings when something is real, and how we've learned to override it.

This week, I want to go deeper into something I mentioned: multidimensional coherence. What does that actually mean? And why does it matter for hearing the bell more clearly?

You Are a Living System

Here's the thing: you're not a single instrument. You're an entire orchestra.

Or more precisely, you're a living system—countless smaller systems (cells, organs, mitochondria, energy patterns) all working together, constantly adapting and evolving to help you exist as one coherent whole.

This isn't a new idea. It shows up in traditional medicine systems around the world. In Ayurveda, we have the koshas—five sheaths or layers of being, all in communication. In Chinese medicine, we have qi flowing through meridians that influence not just the physical body, but the mental, emotional, and spiritual as well. These aren't isolated pathways. They're conversations.

What I've developed through my work is a framework I call the Five Vital Resonance Systems. It's a way of understanding these layers—and more importantly, understanding how to curate conversation between them that results in optimal coherent living.

The Five Systems

1. Physical- This is where most of us start—and where most interventions stop. Structure, biochemistry, nervous system, mitochondria. Nutrition, sleep, movement. The instrument through which everything else is expressed. It matters. And it's not the whole story.

2. Mental - Thoughts, beliefs, patterns of perception. The stories we tell ourselves about what's happening. In our culture, we lean heavily on this one—we trust cognition above almost everything else. Which means this system often overrides the others, drowning out signals from the body, the emotions, the soul.

3. Emotional - This is not just feelings. It's chemistry. It's the felt sense—your body's emotional intelligence. And here's what I've come to understand: the emotional system is your superpower. When emotion gets behind a thought, an action, a soul response—it amplifies. The truth bell often rings here first. And this is also the system we've been most taught to suppress. "Too sensitive." "Too emotional." "Be rational." We've learned to apologize for our chemistry instead of listening to it.

4. Soul - The deeper knowing. Purpose, meaning, what you came here for. This isn't necessarily religious—it's the part of you that recognizes what's yours to do. When this system is stagnant, life can feel hollow even when everything looks right on paper. And sometimes what looks like a mental health crisis is actually a crack in this container—a soul emergence that doesn't fit the old structure anymore.

5. Cosmic Bridge - This is where you meet the field. The universe. The matrix—whatever language works for you. We are in constant conversation with something larger, whether we're aware of it or not. When people tell me, "I'm doing everything right but things keep going wrong," my first question is: what's the conversation happening here? What are you calling in and what are you ignoring? Where's the feedback?

Homeodynamic, Not Homeostatic

Here's a word I love: homeodynamic.

We tend to think of balance as a fixed point—homeostasis. Get back to center. Find equilibrium. But the center is always moving. What was balance yesterday isn't balance today.

Homeodynamic means finding the point of balance wherever it's moved to. Even in freefall, there's a balance point. The question is whether we're fluid enough to find it.

This is what coherence actually looks like. Not rigidly holding one position, but dancing with what's emerging. Listening. Responding. Adjusting.

Call, Response, Feedback

At the end of the day, you are a system of conversations. Call and response. Feedback loops.

One system sends a signal. Another receives it. There's a response—or there's silence. (The silent treatment is still feedback. Ghosting yourself is still a choice.)

Multidimensional coherence isn't about optimizing one system and hoping the rest follow. It's about listening to the dialogue between all of them. Where is there stagnation? Where is there overstimulation? Where have you stopped listening altogether?

An Invitation

If you want to sit with this, here are some questions worth journaling:

  • What's the conversation happening in my mental space right now? What stories am I telling?

  • What's my emotional system trying to amplify that I keep turning down?

  • Where in my soul space do I feel hollow—or too full?

  • What am I telling the cosmos? What's coming back?

  • Where am I ghosting myself?

You don't have to fix anything yet. Just listen. Notice where the conversation is flowing and where it's stuck.

The truth bell rings clearest when all your systems are in dialogue—not perfectly, but coherently. And coherence starts with being willing to hear what's already being said.
